Zack Conroy. He plays the role of Oliver in B&B.

In case there are people who live on the West Coast and can't see the Daytime Emmys live, here's a link: http://www.channelsurfing.net/watch-cbs.html

Wow, that Drew Tyler Bell victory was completely unexpected! I won't comment on his performance since I haven't seen his reel (I don't think it's available on YouTube) and I only see him in a handful of episodes in which he was playing a very secondary role. I guess the voters decided to give the Emmy to the only nominee who is still playing the role he was nominated for (even if he's now on recurring status).

So I'm okay (kind of) with his win. Do I think Drew Tyler Bell is more talented than Scott? Hell, no!! Do I think Scott deserved to win his first Emmy? Of course, and I'm sure that one day, he'll ultimately have one (hopefully, next year). But I think I'll be more bummed if the winner was Drew Garrett cause I'd have the feeling Scott would have been robbed (I honestly think Scott's reel was way better than Drew's).

4 nominations, 4 losses. Scott is starting to look like a male version of Susan Lucci. I hope someone will be clever enough to hire him to star in a primetime series soon cause he has too much talent to stay all his career in the fading daytime soap business.

As for the ceremony, I only watched the first 50 minutes but I found it quite boring. Scott looked a bit upset after Drew Tyler Bell's speech. I hope it was mainly because Drew just thanked "his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ". I know I rolled my eyes when he said that. Anyway, it was great to see again Scott on TV even if it was for only 5 seconds. Still three weeks to go before his first B&B episode.

Here's two screen captures I made of Scott's brief appearances during the part of the ceremony I watched. Sorry about the bad quality (streaming).

Scott seated behind Bradford Anderson. Looks like Bradford has embraced the motto of the new Doctor Who: "Bowties are cool".http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BioSWCEPDps

Scott looked really great in his tux. He was very classy.Image

Here's a gallery of Scott's pictures. There's around 10 pics (tagged, sadly) of this year's Emmys and pics of him in some past events.

In seven years, Scott has really turned himself into a handsome guy.

Scott should have won. No red carpet on air (SON tried to stream though so kudos to them)....TOo much 'come to Vegas' vs. honoring Daytime.

Jenna, I'm sorry if I have offended you or someone else. That was certainly not my intention. I should have written that "Scott's track record at the Emmys is starting to look like Susan Lucci's one". And, like I said after that, I hope someone will be clever enough to notice Scott's talent and give him a role on a primetime show so he won't have to approach Susan Lucci's record.

I looked at the past nominations in the Younger Actor category and I saw there are only 7 other actors who have been nominated as often as Scott.
    1. Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer, GH) : 6 nominations, 3 wins
    2. David Lago (Raul Guttierrez, YR) : 5 nominations, 1 win
    3. Bryan Buffington (Bill Lewis III, GL) : 5 nominations, 0 win
    3. Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman, YR) : 5 nominations, 0 win
    5. Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan Randall, GL) : 4 nominations, 2 wins
    6. Andrew Kavovit (Paul Ryan, ATWT) : 4 nominations, 1 win
    6. Bryton McClure (Devon Hamilton, YR) : 4 nominations, 1 win
    8. Scott Clifton (Dillon Quatermaine, GL ; Schuyler Joplin, OLTL) : 4 nominations, 0 win

I don't know if Scott will still be eligible for that category next year, but if he is and he gets a nomination, he could do like David Lago who won the Emmy at his 5th nomination.
(and wow, I can't believe Josh Morrow is a five time nominee, the guy is a pretty bad actor. Well, at least, he never won.)

Yeah, congrats to B&B on their 3 awards and thanks for welcoming Scott on the show. :D Image

Okay, glad to know I didn't offend you. :)

Yeah, I saw some tweets mentioning Susan Lucci. I wanted to make a Susan Lucci reference when I sent a tweet to Scott on sunday night but I didn't dare doing it. Damn, I could have been the first one to do it! :P

By the way, I watched the pics of the Steven Bergman link you posted. I saw some pics of Scott and Farah Fath taken after the ceremony. Farah Fath's hair looks better now than when I had to endure her on OLTL. :o

The guy next to him. He sure is a major cutie. No idea who it is but he is very cute

Just one of a few reasons to tune in (on a shallow note--he has been shirtless several times since I started to watch)
